Build a killer maze
Every tower is also a wall. Enemy mobs walk the gauntlet you shape — every placement bends their path, so stretch it, twist it, and keep them under fire from gate to castle.

Nothing here is on a script: every mob marching at your castle was bought and sent by a player on the other team. Sends raise your income, so each wave is a gamble — bank economy for later, or break through now.

Play as guestAbout Web Maul Wars
Web Maul Wars is a free multiplayer tower-wars game that runs entirely in your browser — a loving tribute to the classic Wintermaul Wars custom maps. Two teams race to out-maze, out-earn, and out-send each other until one castle falls.
Unlike classic tower defense, your enemies are not on a script: the mobs marching down your lane were bought and sent by the players on the other team. Every wave you send raises your income, so the whole game is one long gamble between building defense now and banking economy for later.
Under the hood
The client renders with Three.js, the server runs on Colyseus for real-time multiplayer, and the 3D art comes from wonderful openly licensed packs including KayKit and Quaternius. Empty seats are filled by relentless bots, so you can play a full 3v3 even when it is just you.
Built by Minute.tech.
How to Play
Protect your team's castle and break the enemy's. Mobs sent by the enemy team march through your build area toward your castle — every one that gets through costs castle health. First team to destroy the other's castle wins.
1 · Maze up
Select your Builder to place towers on your lane, forcing mobs into a long, winding path. Every tower is also a wall — mobs walk around your buildings, so shape a maze that keeps them under fire as long as possible. You can never fully block the path — leave a route or the game will refuse the placement.
2 · Send mobs
Select your Barracks to send mobs at the enemy team. Sends are the only way to raise your income, which pays out every 30 seconds. Cheap early sends snowball your economy; big late sends break through thin defenses.
3 · Upgrade
Click a tower to see its stats, upgrade it, or sell it. Upgrade your Barracks to unlock higher tower tiers and stronger sends — it grows bigger with every level.
Controls
| Click Builder | Show tower build commands (1 – 5 with Builder selected) |
| Click Barracks | Show mob send commands (1 – 8 sends, 9 upgrades the barracks) |
| 1 – 9 | Press the matching command-card slot for the current selection |
| Esc | Cancel build / deselect · then opens the game menu (pause, settings, leave) |
| Enter | Open chat · Enter again sends |
| WASD / arrows | Pan the camera · cursor at the screen edge also pans |
| R | Rotate the camera |
| Mouse drag | Pan the camera · scroll to zoom |
| Click tower | Show stats and upgrade / sell commands (1 / 2) |
Tip: gold sitting in your pocket wins nothing. Spend it on maze, sends, or your Barracks — the best players are broke almost all game.
